Inspired by a historic 1765 pattern for stays, these have two fronts. One remains closed while the outer can gape open without compromising structure

"Eurydice" Stone costumes
Front Theatre Ink’s production of “Eurydice”, the three stones as conjoined triplets. Costumes were designed and constructed to include unconventional materials like:
woven steel, bird feathers, bird head, bird feet, snake skins, porcupine quills, chains and antique lace.

Made from two vintage piano shawls, this 3 ft diameter textile is entirely hand-stitched. Embroidered appliques layered upon countless appliques layered upon embroidery for a three dimensional appearance, finished with pearls
